Summary/Abstract: Jacek Woroniecki considers the complex human-land relations in a practical aspect, concerning the servitude of the land as an agricultural area, as a natural resource that provides man with a livelihood, but the specificity of his approach is to treat the land also as a source of human moral improvement. He believes that the use of the earth and its resources corresponds to the needs of human nature by virtue of natural law, and that man has all the data to reasonably dispose of the land and its resources not only for survival, but also for the improvement of the conditions of his own development. Woroniecki considers the landed gentry to be the natural and most appropriate recipient of his thoughts at times, because they usually had large landed property, were educated, with a high level of agricultural culture. Landed gentry no longer exists, but Dominican’s thoughts remains valid. He formulates a program of educating people to fulfill their proper tasks responsibly. It also includes shaping the ability to contemplate the world as created out of love. This builds an attitude of solidarity as social love. Moreover, his ideas have the value of a universal approach to the issue of man's relationship with the world of nature, which allows his thought to be confronted with contemporary trends in ecological philosophy.
