Highlights from the collection “Bagryana” of the National Museum of History

Summary/Abstract: This publication is dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the birth of the poet Elisaveta Bagryana and looks at some highlights of the Bagryana Collection, which is stored in the National Museum of History. It was formed in 1997 as a donation by her son – Lyubomir Shapkarev and is mainly documentary. Its chronological scope is wide – from the end of the nineteenth century (baptismal testimony of E. Bagryana) to one of the last photos of the poetess, dated around 1990 of the twentieth century. The article stops some documents and photos from the youth of the author of “The Eternal and the Holy”, as well as objects related to her personal life.
