Summary/Abstract: European Green Deal and the 8th EAP accelerated transformation of socio-economic life towards Circular Economy. Waste management may serve as an example illustrating this progression. The transfigurations of EU waste law, motivated by it, are designed in the light of the concept of Extended Producer Responsibility. The aim of the article is to use waste management as a case study of the legal aspects of integrated environmental approach applied in that regard. After enactment of the EGD and the new Circular Economy Action Plan, these aspects can already be identified.
