Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the history of Daruvar brewery, established in 1840. Through its 180 year long active history, the brewery underwent many turbulences. It faced business successes and failures. Nevertheless, it managed to survive on the market up until today, thus representing one of identities of this city and its industry.
