Summary/Abstract: Coriandrum (Coriandrum sativum L.) is an annual essential oil crop that belongs to the Apiaceae family. It has been known since ancient times and has been considered one of the oldest scents in the world. Coriander is a widely used plant. Its great importance is determined by the content of essential oils in its leaves, fruits and roots. It is traditionally used as a spice in national cuisine, for animal feed, raw materials for food, chemical and cosmetic industries and as a remedy plant in medicine. It produces light brown to amber-colored honey containing a large amount of essential oils and trace elements. Coriander is a winter-hardy, light-loving and water-loving crop. It is attacked by a number of diseases: Cercospora coriandri, Ramularia coriandri, Xanthomonas campestris pv. Сoriandri, Phyllosticta coriandri. Two new coriander diseases have been identified with the causative agents Macrophomina phaseolina and Phoma glomerata
