Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is the prevention of road accidents through the involvement of the criminal investigation bodyand the institutions of judicial expert opinions. At the same time, ensuring the safety of road traffic has major social importancebecause we have recently seen an intensification of road traffic in the national and international plans. In the author’s opinion,the concept of prevention, in general, is important, but it is especially necessary in the context of road accident preventionto involve criminal prosecution bodies and institutions of judicial expert opinions because they are the authorities responsible forinvestigating road accidents, which as a result present suggestions viable in the field of road accident prevention
