Summary/Abstract: A pious childhood is a gift from God. The Christian parents are called to offer their children an authentic religious education. Their behaviour is copied by the little ones and replicated. Their educational failures and personal faults are closely related. When starting a family, the spouses should analyse their attitude towards having off springs and the way they want to educate them. The contemporary society compells parents to get informed about the minimum requirements involved in raising children. Babies are marvellous human beings that must be treated with full respect. The preschool child is a wonder. In early childhood the brain assimilates a large quantity of information. Parents should be prepared the become a reliable Christian guide for the child in this world. Their constant endeavours to become good parents are necessary. Prayer is their main tool to form wise children that consider God’s commandments.
