Knowledge and Metaphysics: Romanian Ontological Reflections in the Interwar Period

Summary/Abstract: Among the categories of ontological order, the being has the most comprehensive sphere. This concerns not so much being or the genres of being, as thinking. Paradoxically, however, if in the logical sphere this is the summa genera, in the ontological one, i.e. of real thought, its content claims all other categorical contents. The being is like a star towards which they tend and from which they take their substance, in the sense that they reflect the principle being and distribute it to all the other notions.
