Summary/Abstract: The connection between literature and aesthetics, specifically whether or not their relationship is direct or indirect, is one of the most contentious issues in contemporary theoretical and aesthetic thought. Through his remarkable antithetical canon with respect to contemporary literary theory, eminent literary critic Harold Bloom believed that the literary canon should act as a medium for artistic worth. He and the leading literary theorists and critics of the day both shared the belief that writing aesthetics had developed into an endemic aspect of established institutions at the time. So many reviewers resisted highlighting how important literary aesthetics is. In fact, whether applied to literature or a specific literary work, aesthetics should not be confused with other disciplines, according to H. Bloom’s antithetical canon. In the context of the interaction between aesthetics and literature, Peter Lamarck’s theoretical frameworks are equally fascinating. He claims that literary critics emphasize the exterior rather than the intrinsic values of writing. They want to set literature apart from aesthetics because they reject any kind of paradigmatic value judgment. Literature is a crucial part of contemporary aesthetics, as evidenced by the fact that aestheticians and literary critics share ideas like aesthetic pleasure and aesthetic vocabulary.
