Summary/Abstract: The topic of third publication’s issue of centre for Work and Family Studies deals with atypical employment. In contrast to the “old” European Union countries, importance and requirement of “non-standard” employment issue has been recently risen in Slovakia. New Labour Code has build up the internal labour market conditions for enforcing atypical employment. The paper is concerned with development of atypical employment in Slovakia including legislative framework description of its type. The third publication’s issue includes an information of conference Women Employment in Technical Fields, Gender and Employment (“Think Equal” - Equal Opportunities in the Information Society), which took place in Frankfurt am Main from 3rd April till 5th April 2005.
