Summary/Abstract: The article describes an advanced test stand for measuring temperatures during the 3D printing for additive manufacturing. Based on mathematical procedures, it analyzes the impact energy of the laser beam used in metal 3D printing. The article describes an advanced test stand for measuring temperatures during the 3D printing for additive manufacturing. Based on mathematical procedures, it analyzes the impact energy of the laser beam used in metal 3D printing. The procedure is based on monitoring the flow of energy falling on the defined measuring object. Due to the design of this functional sample, it is also possible to analyze the incident and reflected energy to analyze and understand the physical properties, the precise quantitative distribution of temperatures, gradients, as well as the heating and cooling rates of the melt bath in laser bed fusion (L-PBF)
