Summary/Abstract: In order to become a special, even fascinating experience, the writing implies to apply some didactic strategies, to cultivate some specific abilities which would contribute to a better personal learning and development, joint efforts both of the teacher and the students. This work proposes to present the implied stages to carry out an argumentative essay. The stages could be as follows: the writing preparation stage, the brainstorming, a text or video material comprehension presented as a debate theme, theoretical information offering, an argumentative model for essay, the planning, the research, the draft, the editing, the remedial, the self-correction, the review, the final version, the evaluation, the results monitoring and, finally, the teacher's feedback, and possibly, the colleagues' feedback. The experience of didactic staff in teaching the Romanian language as a non-native language is based on the idea to organize some actions initially led by the teacher, these actions aim to constantly stimulate the students to produce an essay individually and creatively, to argue logically, persuasively, to express themselves clearly and correctly in writing and to overcome their complexes, as well as their lack of creativity.
