Summary/Abstract: Currently, the anti-globalization movements are extremely diversified and are active not only at the global level, but also at the national, regional or local level, and their repertoires of action are among the most innovative. Most anti-globalization activists oppose globalization as a manifestation of power or dominance exercised globally and call for more equity in global economic and political relations. On the one hand, transnational social movements are an example of the globalization of social relations and use communication methods specific to globalization (eg the internet), and on the other hand, these movements challenge globalization as a specific political project.
