Summary/Abstract: Nicolae Titulescu was and remains one of the most emblematic personalities in the history of Romania. This paper aims to present the life and political-diplomatic career of this outstanding Romanian personality.The first part presents his family background, the period of his studies, his initiation into Freemasonry, the beginning of his career as a teacher and his marriage.Next, information is provided regarding his long and excellent political-diplomatic career, information that shows his dedication to the national interest of Romania, his pro-European vision and desire for global peace. At the end of the paper, we present the last years of life, but a well as the continuity of Nicolae Titulescu's ideals through the Titulescu European Foundation, a foundation based in the home of the illustrious diplomat and politician, named in this paper as the father of Romanian diplomacy.
