Summary/Abstract: The man of the 21st century rediscovers confessional literature with delight due to the fact that it offers direct, "hot" testimony of the dramas experienced in the two world wars and in totalitarian regimes, a more convincing testimony than any official document or work of fiction. Thus, in our culture from the post-December decade, there is a major interest in memorialism. Whether this kind of concentration literature is aesthetic or not, literary histories will have their say.
