Summary/Abstract: Every year, the number of Moldovan teenagers, immigrants in Italy is continuously increasing, this involves new phenomena related to adaptation, inclusion and social integration. School, as the primary place of socialization, outside the family context, is the environment where teenagers grow, discover their skills, learn to relate to others and acquire agility to move actively in Italian society. In this context, the motivation to learn represents the central nucleus that influences the educational path of adolescents, being the result of the combination of personal interests, influenced by the family and external interventions, which in the case of immigrant adolescents are almost always oriented towards professionalization rather than schooling.
