Summary/Abstract: Large postwar demand timber formed reconstruction destroyed during the war ends, made the exploitation of the forest very suitable investments. In this regard have been established with a number of companies. However, the establishment of sawmills and good business opportunities quickly stopped, because hiperpodukcija saturate the market and reduce the demand for timber. Business opportunities were altered in 1924 by the roots. There was a bad conjuncture, weak demand and a shortage of material financial capital, causing the wood industry came into crisis. The crisis is manifested by reduction of production, laying off workers, suspension of work and large business losses.
