Summary/Abstract: The article describes the issue of positive psychology and its application to education, as well as concepts such as well-being and quality of life. Attention was paid to selfesteem and the role of adults in building self-esteem in children. The organization of the study is described, and the self-esteem-supporting activities used at the one of the preschool and school institution in Bialystok.
