Summary/Abstract: chita Stănescu and Mihai Eminescu reinvented the Poet's being, but also the poetic language. In the case of the former, the key word is ostentation. Nichita Stănescu was born to be ostentatious and to give meaning to the word ostentation. I would like to link here the Manifesto of the left-wing feminist writers which was about the recognition of rights and, in general, about "a better literary world", to the discourse of ostentation that Nichita Stănescu imposed.
