Summary/Abstract: Adolescence is the phase in which the individual leaves childhood and directs his/her own life by being influenced by factors such as family, social environment, childhood experiences and religion. It is also a struggle to discover their true identity. The journey of self-discovery is shaped by both internal factors, such as subconscious processes, ideas about oneself, and past experiences, and external factors, such as family and social environment. When it comes to boys, the father figure is the most significant influence. The individual's positive approach and attitude towards his/her self/essence, which is usually formed by the answer to the question "who am I?", constitutes self-esteem and is closely related to religious belief. In this context, the main purpose of the article is to determine the position of the father-son relationship on religious beliefs and self-esteem during adolescence.
