Summary/Abstract: The migration process has always existed, varying in close accordance with the historical context, the interdependence between the countries of origin and those of destination, the evolution of the European integration process, as well as the historical context, the political, economic, demographic and social disparities that have manifested themselves over time between Central and Eastern Europe. For this reason, the European Union has developed an integrated and inclusive approach to the migration process. This was realized through a common approach to migration management. However, harmonizing the migration policies of the European states has become a challenge given the fact that European migration patterns have presented many particularities.
