Summary/Abstract: In the context of climate change, which is becoming more and more evident, the protection of forests through legal means is becoming more and more necessary. One from these means, which allows a quick intervention to prevent acts that violate the obligations established by normative acts in the forestry field, is Law no. 171/2010 on the establishment and sanctioning of forestry contraventions. The present paper highlights the particularities of the regulation.
