Summary/Abstract: On 7th September the 29th edition of the conference Church and state was organized by the Department of Constitutional Law and Politology of the Faculty of Law, Masaryk's University in cooperation with Society for Church Law at the Faculty of Law, Masaryk's university. This year's edition was mainly devoted to canonical criminal law and conscientious objection. The conference was divided into three panels, the first of them focused on canonical criminal law. In the second panel, the authors presented news in ecclesiastical and canon law, the third panel was then devoted to the topic of conscientious objection. In total, 12 authors spoke at the conference, whose contributions atracted a large number of audience.
