Summary/Abstract: During the Second Vatican Council, there was an informal group of bishops, popularly known as the Church of the Poor, who placed the relationship between Jesus, the Church, and the poor at the center of the debates. The archives of the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve preserve archival reports of meetings that took place at the Belgian College in Rome. Considering that the contents of these sources are not commonly recognized, the author provides an introduction to their contents using source critical analysis. In the first part, he discusses the research status. In the second section, he examines the reports’ content.
