Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the conditions related to the introduction of electronic forms of voting with the use of the Internet (e-voting) in relation to possible crimes against elections. The aim is analyzes in two fields: (1) possible abuses in relation to the principles of electoral law, which could be based on the introduction of electronic forms of voting and (2) popularization of i-voting as a new ground for committing electoral crimes. The result of the analysis will be the identification of the basic correlations of i- voting to the principles of electoral law and an attempt to identify the basic threats related to the introduction of an alternative form of voting.
