Summary/Abstract: This article attempts to portray car drivers’ radio listening practices. This issue seems particularly relevant: year after year, the car is the most popular place for radio listening among Poles. I base my work on my own research and the inspiration of researchers such as Nick Couldry, Sarah Pink, and Michael Bull. The study intends to classify listeners; for example, whether they are active or passive. It also indicates new aspects that are worth investigating in the context of radio, apart from the standard measures (listening time, advertising market share, etc.).
