Summary/Abstract: The discussed book concerns the most crucial period in the life of Władysław Siła-Nowicki, a lawyer and offi cer of the Polish Army, who fought in the Polish Campaign in September 1939 and in the structures of the Home Army (Armia Krajowa). After the war, he started cooperating with the so-called second conspiracy and was a political prisoner from 1948 to 1956.
