Summary/Abstract: Bonnefoy's poetic work describes the odyssey of a consciousness that seeks the shore of well-being amid the storms of the post-war period. The system of reference linked to loneliness moves away from meanings pertaining to existential malaise in order to become a means of knowing and being reborn. The teachings transmitted by the magic of the poetry make inner speleology an instrument favouring the transition from the situation of an inexperienced loner to that of an accomplished loner. The poet seeks to poetically inhabit the world by isolating himself from the turbulence of society; he then forges links with the other who is within him, so as not to resign himself to the monotony of his days, or to the dereliction caused by the conflict of voices resounding in his being. The divine part, which finds its place in its interiority, imposes itself therefore impetuously by the power of literary creation. In this article, we will try to explain, from an ontological point of view, how the inner investigation proposed by solitude could challenge the otherness of an immanent nature, and how this mode of consciousness can move the conventional landmarks away from their usual condition. in order to open up to other possibilities of existence.
