Summary/Abstract: During the history was Slovakia an integral part of other units such as Great Moravia, Hungarian Monarchy, Austrian-Hungarian Monarchy or the First Czechoslovak Republic from the 9th century until 1933. But we have to say that it does not mean that Slovakia did not have its own tradition of public and territorial administration.
