Summary/Abstract: Adapting to the school environment for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) is a necessity and involves diverse curricular adaptations. The training, development and evaluation of the knowledge and skills of these students are based exclusively on the use and application of several methods of curricular adaptations, which we have described in the lines above (curriculum scale, visual supports, support teacher, adaptations regarding material resources and those of the school space). Minimizing distractions is also essential in adapting to the classroom space for students with ASD, improving their ability to concentrate. Rewarding children increases their understanding of cause-and-effect relationships and improves cooperation and task performance.
