Summary/Abstract: Monsignor Antoni Rojko was among the pioneers of pastoral ministry in the Western and Northern Territories granted to Poland after World War II in the 1946 he arrived in the territories with the faithful from the parish in Pruzhany in Polesie. He was a clergyman with a very good reputation, in many fields of merit for the Diocese of Pinsk, where he had worked since its establishment in 1925. In 1946, he was incorporated into the clergy of the Apostolic Ordinariate of Gorzow. He lived twelve consecutive years in the new post-war reality, serving as parish priest in Skrzatusz, dean of Walcz, and finally as the first ever vicar general of the apostolic administration. He died on March 5, 1958 in Gorzow and was buried in Skrzatusz.
