Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article was to present selected components of social images and their reflection in the women’s press in Poland in the years 1944–1975. Press for women constituted an important segment of publishing production, which included periodicals addressed to women. It presented state values. In the press release, women in the People’s Republic of Poland were resilient, integrated, strongly influencing the environment and the family. Their overall picture was made up of partial images: personal. They gave the idea of a Polish Mother, shock worker, and feminist performing state tasks.
