Summary/Abstract: The article defines term "parish press". It shows the history of the Polish press of the twentieth century and its development after 1989 is presented. Guidelines were given as to how the title of the parish press should be edited. Five Pila titles published in 1992-2019 were discussed, specifying their publisher, frequency, time of publication, format, volume, copy circulation. Titles whose publishing cycle has been closed were characterised in detail: Rodzinka, Kurier z Milosierdzia, Wspolnota. The places where archival copies are kept are indicated.
