Personal dynamism in the perspective of responsibility - the ethical thought of Robert Spaemann

Summary/Abstract: The article is an attempt to read Robert Spaemann’s ethics in the key of the issue of responsi­bility. Particularly important for the solutions to ethical dilemmas worked out by the German philosopher is the responsibility of the person for his own development. Therefore, the topic of education for a virtuous life in its classical sense has an important place in the considerations. The orientation of ethics to the issue of responsibility for oneself guarantees a deepening of the topics related to the question of human life, social affairs and relations to nature, which Robert Spaemann dealt with. It also reveals the dynamic nature of the human person.
