Summary/Abstract: This reflection will focus on showing how the fact of categorizing a lexical segment of newspeak is a speech act that mobilizes polyphonic functioning and specific pragmatic issues. The analysis will focus on a corpus of extreme-right or extreme-left tendency websites, through which it will be a question of showing how certain metalinguistic operations of reformulation and euphemization judgments produce an axiology in discourse. These websites denounce certain expressions used by the traditional press as being euphemistic, below a reality that they endeavor to unveil and offer in this regard a critical look at these surrounding discourses.
