Interdisciplinarity of Values and Their Importance in Raising Children

Summary/Abstract: Every person constantly makes choices and more or less consciously conveys certain values, often without realizing which ones guide him. The issue of values is complex and many disciplines analyze it from their own specific point of view. For these reasons, we show values in philosophical, psychological, sociological, cultural and pedagogical discourse. On this basis, we specify, after K. Chałas, the functions of values in relation to the upbringing of the young generation.
