Summary/Abstract: The process of personal development of early school students implies the development of their spirituality, which is characterized by an axiological dimension. Among the values necessary in human spirituality, an important function is played by service, which is associated with the implementation of many other personal and moral and social values. Service as an empathic and behavioral value, requiring sacrifice, is an adequate subject of early school education for service and through service. Thanks to this, students can overcome their individualism, open up to others and learn concrete actions for them and for the common good. As a result, education for service creatively shapes the spirituality of students and enables them to develop integrally.
