Summary/Abstract: The goal of this contribution is to add to previously published information pertaining to the careers of scholars registered in the Saxon nation of the medieval Prague law university. The author compares approximately same-sized groups of persons matriculated in 1372–1385, that is, at a time of basically sustained prosperity, and persons who registered during a substantially longer period of 1386–1417, when the frequency of matriculations to the Prague law university and its Saxon nation was marked by a steady decline. The main outcome of this research is a finding that this decline in student numbers had almost no detectable influence on the social exclusivity of juridical scholars or their considerable (and sometimes quite astonishing) social mobility.
