Manifestations and Conditions of Maria Grzegorzewska’s Religious Attitude

Summary/Abstract: This article concerns the religious attitude of the extremely creative creator of the Polish school of special education – prof. Maria Grzegorzewska, honored by the Sejm of the Polish Republic with the honorable title of Patroness of the Year 2022. After a short explanation of the basic concepts related to the discussed topic, the author attempts to characterize Grzegorzewska’s attitude to matters of faith and religiosity, showing in the context of her biography the origins of her altruistic attitudes, manifestations of her interest in sacrum and contacts with the clergy, the knowledge of which is essential for deepening knowledge about the personality of this outstanding scholar.
