Summary/Abstract: This article attempts to reconstruct Łucja Rautenstrauch’s relation to Cyprian Norwid. Based on an analysis of the writer’s biography and her known correspondence with Cyprian Norwid, the author of the article attempts to reconstruct the beginnings of their acquaintance, which started in Italy in the 1840s, as well as the further course of their relationship, which continued during the writer’s visits to Paris in the 1850s and 1860s.
