Summary/Abstract: This study aims to demonstrate the importance of electoral polls in political life. Election polls are vital for political people because they are the ones that decipher the behaviour of the voter, but in the same way they are extremely important for the voters, being a guide that enlightens the voter to understand the data behind the reality. The main objectives pursued in this research start from the analysis of the framework that regulates electoral advertising and continue with the interpretation of the effects of publishing the results of electoral polls in the mass media. The role that the mass media plays in this whole process is that of an arbiter, but at the same time it is also a very important link and pawn in the dissemination of information to the population and, implicitly, the democratic way of promoting political formations and information political in nature.
