Summary/Abstract: In this paper knowledge management, a very frequent and actual phenomenon in all the segments of professional and scientific life – considered at the example of libraries and their purpose. Knowledge management as a fund of information age means the best way of its most quality and easiest access. Bosnian- Herzegovinian libraries come across obstacles on that path.
