Summary/Abstract: The main goal of the present text is the study of the concept of the rose - its semantics and functionality in the context of current floral poetic research. The rose is one of the most literary flowers, an example of expanding the boundaries of the symbol. The floristic code will be considered as a part of the decorative experiments of the Bulgarian Symbolist-Secessionist literature on the pages of the magazines "Khudozhnik", "Nash zhivot", in the translated texts of the representatives of "Young Poland" - Kazimesh Psherva-Tetmayer and Stanislav Przybishevsky, as part of the figurative-metaphoric system of the Russian symbolists.
