Summary/Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly affected countries' economies and health systems. As a result of the curfews implemented during the pandemic, the decrease in the country's production and the deterioration of the economic balances brought high inflation. Purpose of the study; It is to compare the monthly COVID-19 data with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and price changes in some goods in the period from March 2020-May 2022. As a result of the research, an increase in the number of cases during the pandemic and an increase in inflation were observed. When the monthly variation of the pandemic data is analyzed, it is seen that the highest increase in the number of cases and deaths occurred in December 2020. The study results showed that the inflation rate increased towards the end of the pandemic. Other national and international factors may also be effective in the increase in CPI, but this can be examined as the subject of a separate study
