Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to assess the degree of implementation of pro-quality orientation in organizations and to make a comparison of the results of this evaluation for organizations representing different business profiles, in particular production organizations and service organizations. A questionnaire was developed for the study. It was sent to organizations in Poland and Serbia. To conduct the study there were used the tools and techniques of statistical analysis, including descriptive statistics. The results show that the implementation of pro-quality orientation in organizations is at the average level (ranging around 3 at a scale of 5) and varies between organizations from Poland and Serbia. Organizations from Poland have higher level of implementation of pro-quality orientation than those from Serbia. In addition, the results from organizations from Poland indicate that the organizational profile determines the level of implementation of pro-quality orientation in organizations. It is so because service organizations show a higher level of implementation of pro-quality orientation compared to manufacturing organizations. For organizations from Serbia it is not such a situation, and the observed differences in the evaluation are minimal between service and production organizations.
