Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the subject of strategic renewal of enterprises in the context of their organizational learning and innovation-oriented activities. The renewal sets new capabilities in carrying out various kinds of difficult transitions. This indicates that the renewal processes of enterprises form the basis of organizational changes to allow evolutionary development. Enterprises process orientation is the foundation supporting the transformation process towards renewal. The article is complemented by the results of the research in the field of process maturity of companies realized based on the methodology of proceedings described in the book by W.B. Cieśliński [Cieśliński 2011].
