BULGARIAN CITATION INDEX – MISSION POSSIBLE

Summary/Abstract: The article describes the main results of the project Design and development of a prototype of an information system “Index for citation of publications by Bulgarian authors (social sciences)“, implemented with the financial support of the National Science Fund (December 2017–December 2020). Emphasis is placed on the presentation of the approach applied by the team for the development of a web-based software system for the Bulgarian citation index, its information and graphic design, functionalities, and applicability in practice.
