The Process of Social Innovation in the Field of Social Services in Romania

Summary/Abstract: The reform of the social work system at the national level based on the principles of deinstitutionalization and decentralization, including the transfer of responsibilities to associations and foundations, has led social service providers to introduce new approaches or tools for solving social problems. This article presents the types of innovations identified in the field of social services, the types of actors who innovate and the dynamics of the social innovation process, based on the results of a quantitative and qualitative research carried out at the level of social service providers in Romania during the year 2022.
