THE STORY AND ITS TIME - CASE STUDY: VAL AND THE FORTRESS OF SOULS BY ANA ALFIANU

Summary/Abstract: This study will analyze the children's book written by Ana Alfianu, Val and the Fortress of Souls, depicting the value of story in the world, whose relationship with time is interdependent. We will focus on the possible worlds that the story creates, on the construction of the character, who goes through an initiatory path in the discovery of the story about the Fortress of Souls, but also on the graphic elements that support the story. Therefore, the present work will reflect the innovative elements of today's Romanian children's literature found in Ana Alfianu's text.
