Summary/Abstract: This paper highlights the directions that critics point out in regard to Tatiana Țîbuleac's two novels. The style of writing (harsh, short sentences, metaphorical insertions), the lyricism of the novels, the world described (a world that is experiencing suffering), the themes explored (history, memory, identity, childhood) are some of the features that describe a new voice in contemporary Romanian literature. The enthusiasm of the critics can be seen in their discourse, as they say that the writer of Bessarabian origin is a phenomenon, that she is a writer whose novels cannot be ignored. It is certainly true that Tatiana Țîbuleac has found the narrative formula to impose herself in the contemporary literary space, her novels being appreciated by the prizes she wins. Her novels have stood out for their aesthetic formula, but also for the themes that have brought the fictional imagined worlds closer to the concrete, lived world.
